Job Title: Assistant Manager
Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive and organized Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations. This role works closely with the Property Manager to ensure smooth leasing processes, strong resident relations, efficient maintenance coordination, and accurate administrative management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support
Support daily property operations, including rent collection, reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. - Team Leadership
Assist in leading and motivating the leasing and maintenance teams; step in for the Property Manager when needed. - Resident Relations
Handle resident inquiries and concerns professionally, promote retention, and support community engagement efforts. - Leasing and Marketing Support
Collaborate on leasing strategies, review applications, and help maintain high occupancy in compliance with Fair Housing laws. - Maintenance Coordination
Coordinate maintenance requests, property inspections, and vendor services to ensure timely and quality service delivery. - Reporting and Compliance
Support preparation of operational reports and ensure proper documentation and compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in property management or a related field; 1+ year in a supervisory role
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred
- Strong leadership, customer service, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with property management software is a strong plus
