Strava for Business partners with brands looking to authentically engage with our highly engaged global community. Through sponsored challenges, we provide an alternative to traditional advertising channels, allowing brands to inspire and connect with athletes in a meaningful way.
As the Senior Client Partner, Americas, you will be Strava for Business’s first local hire in Brazil, stepping into an exciting opportunity to establish and grow our presence across Brazil and the broader LATAM region. In this high-impact role, you’ll operate within a fast-paced, dynamic environment as part of a globally distributed team. You’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling Strava’s advertising solutions to leading brands and their media agencies, building relationships at all levels and helping partners unlock the full value.

We follow a flexible hybrid model that generally translates to half your time on-site in our São Paolo, Brazil office —three days per week.

What You’ll Do:
- Develop Strava for Business across the Americas by building and growing relationships with brands and media agencies.
- Evangelize Strava as the go-to platform for brands to reach and engage people living active lifestyles.
- Sell Sponsored Challenges and Sponsored Segment campaigns that meet client objectives and resonate with the Strava community.
- Collaborate with the Account Management team to deliver high-quality campaigns and exceptional client service that drive renewals.
- Act as the voice of your customers—sharing feedback and market insights with Product, Leadership, and other internal teams.
- Maintain a healthy, accurate pipeline to support reliable forecasting and informed business planning.
- Contribute to the growth and success of Strava for Business by playing an active role in a fast-scaling, entrepreneurial team.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 8+ years of experience in a quota-carrying digital advertising or sponsorship sales role.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in Spanish is a strong plus.
- Deep knowledge of the digital media and advertising landscape, enabling you to advise clients effectively on Strava’s solutions.
- A strong network of contacts at brands and/or media agencies that you can immediately leverage to drive market growth.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to operate independently and deliver results in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and clearly articulate value propositions in both internal and external settings.
- Strong attention to detail, with proven experience in pipeline management and accurate sales forecasting.
- Team management experience is a plus, though not required for this role.
Compensation Overview:
At Strava, we know our employees are the most important ingredient to our success, and our compensation and total rewards programs reflect that. We take a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on the department and your location. Salary ranges are categorized into one of three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. We will determine the candidate’s starting pay based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. We may modify these ranges in the future. Compensation: R$245,000 - R$285,000. Additionally, this role is eligible for a target bonus of 40%. This range reflects base compensation only and does not include equity or benefits. Your recruiter can share more details about the full compensation package, including the range specific to your location, during the hiring process.
