As the Partnerships Lead, DevRel you will own Strava’s success globally through strategic partnerships and product integrations, leveraging APIs and innovative initiatives. You will lead complex, high-impact collaborations with our most strategic Tier 1 partners that drive business growth, enhance user experience, and advance our strategic goals.
We follow a flexible hybrid model that generally translates to half your time on-site in our San Francisco office— three days per week.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy.
Cultivate deep, cross-functional relationships with key Tier 1 partners, influencing across diverse teams to drive outcomes.
Lead complex negotiations to establish dynamic, highly strategic, and mutually beneficial partnerships.
Act as a strategic advisor to our Tier 1 partners, proactively addressing developer-focused integration opportunities and challenges.
Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to identify new opportunities and drive seamless implementation.
Synthesize and prioritize partner feedback to shape product initiatives that align with both partner needs and Strava’s business objectives.
Partner with Product Marketing to craft impactful go-to-market campaigns for new features or integration milestones.
Monitor and resolve issues with partner integrations, assessing and escalating as needed with clarity and precision.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
You have 8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, developer relations, or a related field.
You have a proven track record of leading complex negotiations, driving strategic partnerships, and scaling impactful collaborations.
You have extensive experience with developer-focused partner API integrations, including familiarity with SDKs and developer tooling.
You have experience with partner API integrations and a demonstrated ability to discuss and navigate complex technical integrations with both internal and external stakeholders.
You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous settings, proactively identifying opportunities and challenges.
You excel at crafting and executing strategies while building consensus across diverse stakeholders.
You are highly organized, adept at managing intricate projects and aligning multiple teams.
You possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering trust and collaboration across all levels.
Compensation Overview
At Strava, we know our employees are the most important ingredient to our success, and our compensation and total rewards programs reflect that. We take a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on the department and your location. Salary ranges are categorized into one of three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. We will determine the candidate’s starting pay based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. We may modify these ranges in the future. Compensation Range: $205,000-$220,000. This range reflects base compensation only and does not include equity or benefits. Your recruiter can share more details about the full compensation package, including the range specific to your location, during the hiring process.

This role is on the Strava Security Team, which exists to protect Strava’s people, business, and data through integrated, proactive security practices.
We work across all security domains, including, but not limited to, product security, vulnerability management, incident response, infrastructure, network, governance, and enterprise security.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Experience designing secure systems in cloud-native environments and an understanding of modern software architecture patterns

Prior work building or contributing to secure coding libraries, static analysis rulesets, or security CI/CD integrations
Comfort-level working with languages like: Python, Go, JavaScript, or similar in a modern software development environment

Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, this role will be an integral part of bringing the vision of what the Strava product can be for athletes through driving strategic company-wide efforts, catalyzing and enabling scale and footprint expansions, and preparing for public-company readiness.
As a Senior GL Accountant, you will collaborate across the company to help drive our close and reporting process in accordance with US GAAP. You will be a key member of a highly talented team that enables our business growth, aligns team development with company goals and values, and continues to evolve our accounting and reporting infrastructure.
We follow a flexible hybrid model that generally translates to half your time on-site in our San Francisco office— three days per week.
What You’ll Do:
Lead, prepare and manage aspects of the monthly close activities, including: preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations and flux analysis.
Own key components of the monthly close for our US entity and subsidiaries, including cash, accruals, allocations, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets.
Identify and scale processes to improve efficiencies and incorporate systems and best practices to maximize process automation.
Facilitate and support audits through the delivery of records and documentation to external auditors, as required.
Serve as a key resource for FP&A and Controllership to deliver relevant, timely, and accurate financial data and metrics to enable operational efficiency.
Be part of a public readiness journey from late-stage private to public including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
Develop, maintaining and adhering to policies and procedures, calendars, checklists, process maps, and other procedural documentation. Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and procedures. Partner cross-functionally to provide compliance reporting and process controls.
Perform regular internal review procedures to ensure proper documentation, records, and reviews and sign-offs. Conduct research to ensure any anomalies are explained and resolved.
Operate as an accounting subject matter expert, collaborating with business stakeholders on business-lead initiatives. Facilitate the development of project plans and schedules, as necessary.
Develop and maintaining in-depth knowledge of all systems to independently research and resolve issues.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, related field, or combination of professional experience
4+ years of experience in general accounting; A combination of industry and public accounting experience is preferred but not required
Proven ability to manage and understand US GAAP and general accounting processes
Experience with Netsuite (or an equivalent ERP system) and FloQast
Proven ability to design, implement, and continuously optimize close processes, as well as internal controls, aimed at balancing operational risk, quality, and increased efficiencies
Demonstrated strength with analytical and problem-solving skills, including advanced ability to analyze and present data
System implementation experience
Proven ability to maintain excellent attention to detail and accuracy
