What You’ll Do   

Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, the Vice President, Product Strategy will be responsible for the strategy, development and profitability of the Product Portfolio that will both meet current and emerging market needs.  The leader will lead the operating model, business case development and priorities, leveraging the Pragmatic Marketing Framework best practices to create industry leading solutions and market launches that will expand our reach within current and new buyer market segments. The role will have one direct report, initially, and be accountable to build out the structure needed to create a robust portfolio of solutions.  This role will need to effectively lead a cross functional team to drive strategy, prioritization and development of new products/services across Digital Product, Operations, Clinical, Legal/Compliance, Marketing, Analytics, Partner Success, Business Development, among other key stakeholders.   

The Day to Day 

Product Strategy and Lifecycle Management 

  • Drive market insights and key strategies for growth and competitive differentiation. 
  • Manage the Product Lifecycle Management framework and operating model for cross-company collaboration. 
  • Build a portfolio of profitable products and services/features to support buyer segment current and unmet needs to achieve growth goals and market competitiveness. 
  • Lead market insights and product research as well as competitive analyses to create differentiated solutions to remain ahead of market trends. 
  • Generate input into product concepts from key buyer group stakeholders to ensure alignment with growth projections/validate business assumptions. 
  • Present priority portfolio investment recommendations to Strive Leadership with cross-functional partner alignment. 
  • Lead full development of approved investments for full product market launch through scalable solution roll out (pilot, proof of concept or full market launch). 
  • Drive partnerships related to build, buy or partner product solutions.  

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or related field.  
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in health care/care delivery product management and/or product development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. 
  • Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms.   
  • Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs.   

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 6+ years of demonstrated leadership of Product teams in the healthcare industry, including 5+ years as a people leader with significant P&L impact and oversight. 
  • Master’s/MBA Degree in a relevant field preferred.  
  • Experience with health care services, care delivery and benefits for Medicare/Medicaid, large Health Plan and Commercial ASO, in addition to VBC full risk care management solutions. 
  • Deep expertise in Pragmatic Marketing Framework and Product Lifecycle Management Industry best practices.

  • Location is flexible with ~ 25% travel as needed. 

 

Annual Base Salary Range: $173,000 - $225,000
