Position Overview
We are seeking a Family Office Staff Accountant to support the Family Office Controller in managing the accounting needs of a UHNW single family office. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on process improvement and scalability.

Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping, recordkeeping, and general ledger maintenance for personal entities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ad-hoc reports.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, manage cash movements, and oversee insurance coverage.
  • Manage accounts payable and related documentation.
  • Implement process improvements and manage chart of accounts.
  • Assist with property and vendor management, including 1099 preparation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Family office accounting experience required.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CPA preferred but not required.
