Senior Talent Sourcing Specialist

Sustainable Talent is partnering with our client to scale its growing manufacturing organization. We’re seeking a Senior Talent Sourcing Specialist with a strong sense of urgency, strategic mindset, and proven ability to identify and engage hard-to-find talent.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with recruiters and business leaders to build strong talent pipelines across automotive, manufacturing, battery, energy, and emerging technical skill sets.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for specialized and critical roles.

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

  • Identify and engage passive candidates through creative sourcing, networking, and targeted outreach.

  • Conduct market mapping and provide talent intelligence on candidate availability, competitors, and emerging skill sets.

  • Partner with recruiters and business leaders to understand hiring priorities and talent needs.

  • Lead complex and niche searches, including roles within manufacturing, battery and Battery Energy Storage Systems/Solutions (BESS) envrionments.

  • Maintain accurate candidate activity and pipelines within CRM and ATS platforms.

  • Deliver a strong candidate experience from initial outreach through recruiter handoff.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Strong talent sourcing or recruiting experience, ideally within automotive, manufacturing, energy, or technical environments.

  • Proven success sourcing and engaging passive candidates for difficult-to-fill roles.

  • Experience with CRM and ATS platforms; Eightfold experience is highly preferred.

  • Strong research, market mapping, Boolean search, social sourcing, and networking skills.

  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work EST hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience sourcing within the battery ecosystem, including battery manufacturing, energy storage, or related technologies.

  • Knowledge of or exposure to Battery Energy Storage Systems/Solutions (BESS).

  • Experience sourcing talent from automotive, advanced manufacturing, energy, or adjacent industries.
