Swarm Aero is redefining air power, building the largest swarming UAV and most versatile swarming aircraft network in the world. The company is moving quickly to launch the first aircraft designed specifically for swarming as well as the Command & Control software to mobilize swarms of thousands of heterogenous autonomous assets and empower human operators to achieve superhuman results.  

The team has created and exited multiple startups, negotiated defense deals worth billions of dollars and designed and built 30+ novel aircraft, with aerospace experience from Scaled Composites, SpaceX, Airbus, Archer Aviation, Blue Origin, and Boom Supersonic. 

We are seeking someone exceptional who embodies enthusiasm and a passion for excellence. As an Office Manager at Swarm Aero, you will be the point person for the office: coordinating exec schedules and onsite interviews; managing vendor relationships; and planning large company events. The role comes with a lot of autonomy and is a great opportunity to grow into any number of operational roles. Seeking someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and owning a project from concept to execution.   

Role information: FT Monday – Friday in person in Oxnard, CA  

What You’ll Do 

  • Support leadership with travel arrangements and scheduling 
  • Oversee and coordinate building renovation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and successful completion of all work 
  • Coordinate and plan events, such as conferences and company-wide gatherings 
  • Engage with HR department on recruitment and training initiatives. 
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee spend for an office budget of ~50k per year 
  • Edit and prep presentation content   
  • Design a world-class snack mix for the office, keeping the offerings fresh and tailored to team preferences 😊 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing 
  • Ability to interact professionally with external customers, staff, and management, including members of senior management and government officials. 
  • Demonstrated organization, prioritization and project coordination skills 
  • Attention to detail, commitment to quality, results driven 
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to absorb new duties and responsibilities as you learn 
  • Bonus: good eye for detail and good design – this could be in relation to ordering furniture to editing slide content 

 

Skill and proficiency in computer and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
