About the Job:
The Senior Director of Digital Marketing & AI will lead Taco Bell’s consumer marketing transformation, driving enterprise growth through customer analytics, Loyalty, Delivery, and owned communications. This role sits at the center of Taco Bell’s growth algorithm, channeling Taco Bell’s cultural and innovative spirit to fuel growth through customer-centricity, digital transformation, automation and agility.
Reporting to the Chief Digital and Technology Officer, the Senior Director will help lead Taco Bell’s Digital growth and profitability through the design, delivery and impact of our Delivery and Loyalty customer experience strategies. We’re seeking a dynamic marketing leader with world-class expertise in customer experience strategy across first- and third-party commerce ecosystems. This individual will take a data-driven, consumer-centric approach to leverage the world’s most culturally relevant and impactful fans ensuring seamless integration across our retail ecosystem.
The Day-to-Day:
- Lead Strategy: Build the Delivery & Loyalty Customer Experience strategy gathering cross-functional alignment and support.
- Build Innovative Partnership Impact: Lead a team in charge of identifying, negotiating and leveraging existing and new external partnership opportunities to drive growth.
- Influence Cross-functionally: Build, socialize, and action a Delivery and Loyalty playbook that enables a suite of approaches to deliver acquisition and retention strategies. Closely partner with internal cross-functional teams and Franchise organizations to explore and accelerate new opportunities into fully developed business plans. Craft compelling narratives to align internal stakeholders and leadership, driving consensus on digital product direction. Lead partner with Franchisees in creating buy-in for digital marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Delivery & Loyalty Innovation: Continued innovation of the that regularly exceeds expectations by examining and integrating business opportunities, customer needs, competitor and industry trends, building business cases, and ultimately implementing recommendations that drive growth across first and third-party ecosystems..
- Accelerate the Role of Automation & AI: Utilize AI technologies to enhance marketing strategies, improve customer engagement, and drive growth.
- Financial performance: Manage budgets and P&L performance driving profitable growth by meeting financial objectives and impacting KPIs.
- Satisfaction: Become customer obsessed by focusing on Delivery & Loyalty satisfaction to become the most preferred brand in retail. Grow the team's ability to create high-quality, accessible, usable experiences that help Taco Bell meet its ambition to become the most “Culturally Relevant Brand in the World”
Is This You?
- BA/BS required, MBA or master’s degree preferred
- 12+ years’ experience in digital marketing for technology or consumer companies
- Experience leading transformation efforts for the organization
- Forward leaning, big picture thinker who can also manage details of various assignments
- Strong business acumen with ability to connect implications of projects across the organization
- Highly credible leader with ability to influence outcomes on key initiatives – partnering with Executive Team and non-ET organization leaders
- Ability to partner well with other cross-functional partners to align and deliver results both directly and through influence
- Strong management skills with the ability to relate to team members of multiple levels
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication/presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex issues in a simple manner
- Strong team building/managerial experience is preferred
- Demonstrated success influencing diverse customers or stakeholders and leading teams in cross-functional settings

Salary Range: $226,000 to $300,000 annually + bonus eligibility + equity (if applicable) + benefits
