Mr D - Key Accounts Manager

This position reports to the Head of Sales & Account Managers for Mr D.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Cultivating and managing long term partnerships with key national restaurant brands
- Increasing business revenue from existing accounts by consulting with national partners and developing partner strategies. This will range from the optimisation of menus, to marketing collaborations.
- Implement strategies to drive profitability through pricing,commercial mix and partners utilisation of the Mr D Food Partner Advertising Program
- Provide national partners with weekly and monthly performance reports
- Coordinate selling efforts across the team to execute large scale onboarding of national partners
- Working cross-functionally within the business to optimise partnerships, leading all aspects internally and externally
- Monitor and analyse the performance of national partner-specific KPIs, preparing and presenting partner performance review meetings to the Mr D Food business
- Ensure national partners are kept accountable on all aspects of service delivery to Mr D Food customers by ensuring we always focus on continuous restaurant operational performance
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring clients satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop new sales strategies and advertising packages
Attributes required:
- Key Account or Account Management experience
- Strong knowledge of the restaurant industry
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Highly analytical
- A love for winning
- Enthusiasm for being a part of an entrepreneurial, start-up environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members within the organisation
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to create and deliver client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Proven track record of exceeding targets
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of hitting goals and targets
- Competence in Excel
- Minimum 2 years account or key account management experience
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant other tertiary qualification
