What You’ll Take On:

  • Function as a subject matter expert on IT compliance processes, data governance, and operational security requirements to conduct internal training.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., IT Support, Operations, Infrastructure & Engineering, Security) to ensure IT compliance requirements are met in system development, infrastructure management, and operational processes.
  • Contribute to the development of IT compliance testing plans and scripts, and perform IT control testing, monitoring, and audit activities as needed.
  • Ensure IT compliance issues and security vulnerabilities are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Translate IT regulatory requirements and legal obligations (e.g., data privacy, cybersecurity, industry-specific IT standards) into actionable internal IT policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that various IT compliance-related documentation, technology risk assessments, and recommendations related to proposed IT solutions or new system implementations are kept up-to-date and readily available.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality IT compliance services and advice to internal clients and technology teams.
  • Provide support and administration for IT compliance management systems, security tools, and audit platforms.
  • Prepare training materials and conduct training activities for employees on IT compliance policies, data security best practices, and acceptable use of technology resources.

What You Bring 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Passion for learning and curiosity; high degree of self-awareness, attitude of learning and growth, and sense of humor.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in an IT compliance, IT audit, cybersecurity, or technology risk management role, preferably within the technology or media industry.
  • Experience with IT compliance frameworks such as SOX IT General Controls (ITGCs), SOC 1/2, NIST, or other relevant cybersecurity standards is a definite plus.
  • Superb communication skills (verbal, written, listening), and high proficiency in packaging complex technical and regulatory information into a cohesive and understandable story.
  • Comfortable in challenging conventional methods of thinking and proposing innovative IT compliance solutions.
  • Highly skilled in using IT compliance management software, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) platforms, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and process mapping tools (e.g., Visio).
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple IT compliance initiatives and projects simultaneously.
  • Showcase good analytical and evaluative skills in assessing IT compliance risks, identifying control gaps, and proposing effective mitigation strategies.
