The Challenge:
The chosen individual will serve as a Business Affairs Manager in the Take-Two offices in New York City. They will focus on contract management while supporting Take-Two and its publishing labels. Candidate must possess critical thinking skills and strong business acumen, and be extremely organized, great at multi-tasking, proactive and able to engage in complex work, including drafting and reviewing legal agreements and creating databases of contractual terms and provisions. The selected candidate will also provide day-to-day administrative and paralegal services at a dynamic entertainment company. The role provides broad exposure to Take-Two’s activities and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, collegial, and engaging environment.
This role will serve as a critical point of contact to move the ball forward and get deals over the line. Candidate will draft, review, redline, analyze, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, work with other stakeholders in the procurement process, and support the wider BA team. Candidate will at times work collaboratively with legal, finance, privacy, IT, security, and procurement, but also work in a fast-paced, autonomous environment with the ability to turn around contracts quickly. Candidate will take ownership of delivering contracts to our internal stakeholders with a deep empathetic understanding of their needs, deadlines and priorities. Candidate will strive to utilize technology and workflows in order to increase efficiency.
What You’ll Take On:
- Prepare agreements based on contract templates and handle the contracting process from initial request to final execution.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a variety of transactions (on our paper as well as third party paper), and have a strong understanding of software, technology, entertainment, sports, privacy and marketing issues.
- Serve as a functional liaison between the business client, the procurement team, other icollaboratorseholders and Legal in managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle for a host of agreements.
- Handle services agreements, statements of work, vendor agreements, talent agreements, influencer agreements, licenses, and outline deliverables, staffing plans, and other key provisions of a contract.
- Drive the implementation, maintenance and use of contract management systems and related processes.
- Participate in the planning, selection, implementation and training of key technology resources for the Business Affairs team, including enhancements and upgrades to such systems. Troubleshoot issues with internal technology teams and vendors. Champion the use of such systems within the company.
- Manage contract templates, playbooks and clause libraries through a contract management system and other tools, including AI tools such as Harvey, Gemini, and others.
- Provide support to Business Affairs attorneys who handle matters related to the development, production, marketing, distribution and licensing of video games as well as other corporate matters.
- Prepare contract summaries and internal reports.
- Counsel our in-house client business teams and keep them informed of the contracting process.
- Plan and implement initiatives to build databases of contractual terms to bring a data-driven approach to contract management and to support strategic decision making.
- Analyze deals within a matrix of rights held by third parties, such as content distributors, hardware manufacturers, sports leagues, record labels, music publishers, actors and other talent, technology licensors, software developers, entertainment companies, advertising agencies, ancillary merchandise vendors, data analytics providers, information technology vendors and similar entities.
What You Bring:
- Six or more years of experience as a contracts manager, paralegal or similar role focused on drafting and reviewing legal agreements and College degree preferred.
- Ability to work with contract management software, such as Ironclad or other similar systems.
- Must be tech-savvy, with a grasp of AI legal offerings or a proven ability to quickly learn new software applications, including AI software such as Gemini, Harvey, and similar tools
- Demonstrated ability over your career to handle progressively more complex contract drafting and similar tasks, with a commensurate demonstrated rise in business judgment.
- High energy, positive attitude, and urgency to “get stuff done”.
- Strong academic background and excellent critical thinking skills.
- Must possess common sense, patience, good humor, and a commitment to teamwork.
- Strong administrative problem-solving skills and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills and thorough follow-up.
- Takes ownership of projects, shows initiative and commitment to drive matters to completion.
- Team-player who can multi-task and work well under pressure, with constantly evolving priorities.
- Professionally interface with all levels of the organization, clients and vendors.
- Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the videogame industry.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

The pay range for this position in New York at the start of employment is expected to be between $100,200 and $148,320 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for employees in regular roles may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, provided that temporary or intern roles will not be eligible for many of these payments or benefits. Details of participation in compensation and benefit plans (if applicable) will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.If hired, employee will be in an ~at-will position~ and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
