Talkdesk is seeking a talented Pigment and Tableau Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll build and manage mission-critical planning applications for Talkdesk’s GTM team. In this role, you will support the development and maintenance of robust sales, renewals and professional service models, create insightful scenarios, and design intuitive dashboards within our planning tool, Pigment. You will be integral in supporting data-driven decision-making and driving financial performance.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, develop, and implement planning applications using cutting-edge technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (GTM and Product) to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Build and maintain a robust and scalable codebase ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Develop and implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
  • Automate tasks and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest development trends and technologies.
  • Participate in Design and Build reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Planning and Analytics Applications:
  • Become a proficient user of Pigment, utilizing its advanced features and capabilities to enhance our GMT planning and analysis processes.
  • Assist in optimizing GTM processes and workflows through automation and integration with other systems.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and new developments in Pigment capabilities to continuously improve our processes.
Dashboard & Reporting Development:
  • Support the design and building of interactive dashboards in Pigment and Tableau to visualize key financial metrics and insights.
  • Assist in customizing reports to meet the specific needs of stakeholders and senior management.
  • Contribute to ensuring data accuracy and consistency across models, dashboards, and reports.
Support & Ad Hoc Analysis:
  • Provide analytical support as needed, including tasks related to financial reporting and analysis.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to answer specific business questions and support strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and communicating findings to stakeholders.
  • Support accounting functions, such as data reconciliation and analysis against source systems.

You’re a great fit if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS planning applications or other technologies
  • Demonstrated proficiency in FP&A tools (Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive, etc. ) or similar platforms.
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
  • Previous Tableau experience, including experience in data visualization and dashboard development.
  • A passion for Business solutions with a focus on user experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with accounting software and principles is a plus.
  • Strong modeling skills and experience with scenario analysis.
  • Proficiency in SQL is a plus.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Primarily office-environment work, extended periods of sitting or standing, computer-based work. Limited lifting, and equipment usage limited to computer-related equipment (keyboards, mouse, etc.)
