Regional Vice President - SLED (East)
The successful Regional Vice President - SLED (East) drives a sales team consisting of up to 8 Director of Strategic Accounts (DSA's) to success, by delivering technology solutions tailored to customer needs and can meet and beat their assigned revenue targets. This territory spans Maine to Virginia. The ideal candidate is located in the Northeast region, with New York, NY being a preferred location. *This is a first-line management role requiring a hands-on, player/coach leader.
What you’ll do:

Oversee and be the primary sales leader for the Northeast SLED sales team (Travel required from Maine to Virginia).

Directly manage and develop a team of 6–8 individual contributors (DSA's).

Run weekly 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and deal coaching sessions with your team.

Working with the Tanium Partner and Channel resources, develop and prepare an actionable strategic sales plan for each named account.

Maintain awareness and status of all essential regional contractual obligations, facilitating customer meetings and communications regarding deliverables where necessary.

10+ years of enterprise software sales experience selling to named accounts within the SLED vertical.

5-10+ years of proven sales leadership with a leading software company.

Deep knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape and network operations environment preferred.

History of exceptional quota attainment required.

Knowledge and passion for reporting metrics and closing deals. Own forecast accuracy and pipeline hygiene at the team level.

Enterprise sales experience with a deep network of SLED decision makers.

Partner with Talent Acquisition to recruit, onboard, and ramp top talent.

What you’ll get
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000 to $253,000 and this position will also be commission eligible. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.
