Fullstack Engineer

Los Angeles, California, United States

Tatari is on a mission to revolutionize TV advertising. We work with some of your favorite disruptor brands—like Calm, Vuori, Rocket Money, and hundreds more—to grow their business using linear and streaming TV ads. Our platform combines sophisticated media buying with proprietary analytics to turn TV advertising into an automated, digital-like experience. Our technology and services are pushing the industry forward, enabling businesses of any size to advertise on TV.

Named one of the 16 Hottest Ad Tech Companies by Business Insider and Best Places to Work by Inc. Magazine, Tatari is experiencing rapid growth. Our executive team is comprised of former founders and senior leaders at fast-rising startups like Shazam, TrueCar, AdapTV, and LiveRail and larger, more established tech companies like Amazon, Google, Meta, Microsoft, and Yahoo.

About the Role

We’re looking for Full-Stack Engineers to join either our Reporting or Campaign Manager teams. You’ll work closely with product managers, business analysts, and data scientists to deliver robust, scalable applications that drive measurable business outcomes. Our stack is modern and pragmatic: TypeScript + React on the frontend; Python, SQLAlchemy, GraphQL (Graphene) on the backend.

Full-stack engineers at Tatari are empowered to own features end-to-end, from architecture to delivery. We value engineers who are curious, collaborative, and eager to leverage AI tooling—both as a productivity booster and as a core part of the products we build.

  • About Campaign Manager: The Campaign Manager team builds and maintains the tools that enable clients and internal teams to create, manage, and optimize TV ad campaigns. Our focus is on intuitive user experiences, powerful automation, and seamless integrations with data and media partners. We’re continuously evolving our platform to support new channels and advanced AI-driven optimizations.
  • About Reporting: The Reporting team is responsible for the analytics and insights platform that gives clients and internal stakeholders a clear view of campaign performance. We build interactive dashboards, real-time data pipelines, and AI-powered insights to help users make smarter decisions faster. Our work is at the intersection of data engineering, visualization, and user-centric design.

Responsibilities

  • Translate product and business requirements into high-quality, full-stack applications and systems.
  • Participate in technical architecture discussions and peer code reviews, advocating for best practices and maintainable solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, business analysts, media buyers, peer engineers, and product managers.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our engineering culture by mentoring teammates, sharing knowledge, and championing new technologies (including AI/LLM tools).
  • Help design and deliver features that will be used by AI agents or as part of AI/LLM-driven workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience building production-grade, full-stack applications.
  • Proficiency with modern frontend technologies, especially React and TypeScript.
  • Strong backend experience with Python, SQLAlchemy, and GraphQL (Graphene or similar frameworks).
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and REST/GraphQL API design.
  • Experience delivering software in a collaborative, agile environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
  • Openness to leveraging AI tools (e.g., LLMs, code assistants) and a desire to build software that integrates with or serves AI/LLM applications.
  • Bonus: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), containerization (Docker), or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with observability tools, automated testing, and performance optimization.

What Makes an Exceptional Candidate

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver features that are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
  • Passion for learning and adopting new technologies, especially in the rapidly evolving AI/LLM space. Big plus for any familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM API integration, or building tools that assist or are assisted by AI agents.
  • Comfort with rapid prototyping and iterative development in ambiguous or emerging problem spaces.
  • Track record of mentoring others and elevating team performance.

Benefits:

  • Total compensation ($120,000 - $175,000)
  • Equity compensation
  • Health insurance coverage for you and your dependents
  • 401K, FSA, and commuter benefits
  • $150 monthly spending account
  • $1,000 annual continued education benefit
  • $500 WFH reimbursement
  • Unlimited PTO and sick days
  • Monthly Company Wellness Day Off
  • Snacks, drinks, and catered lunches at the office
  • Team building events
  • Hybrid RTO of 2 days per week. THIS IS AN IN-OFFICE POSITION

At Tatari, we believe in cultivating teams with diverse backgrounds and offering equal opportunities to all. We strive to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every team member feels valued, and diversity is celebrated.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
