Position Overview:
As a Product Management Intern at Surfline, you’ll help identify user friction points, define growth opportunities, and support the development of new features that drive engagement and subscriptions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, shape product requirements, and contribute to a product-led growth strategy. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone excited to learn, solve problems, and make an impact.
What You'll Do:
- Identify product feature and growth opportunities
- Analyze multiple quantitative and qualitative data sources and synthesize into the key user friction to solve.
- Identify leading approaches to solving frictions and define the opportunities for Surfline.
- Build user journeys for MVP feature builds that directly impact subscriber growth and engagement.
- Support with writing product requirements.
- Develop cross functional solutions
- Regular engagement with engineering, design, strategy, analytics, advertising and marketing teams.
- Work with other teams to identify problem areas or opportunities to drive growth.
- Synthesize input from other teams to shape product requirements.
What You'll Learn:
- Product Management: Learn how to develop product requirements, build user journeys, scope A/B tests, prioritize initiatives and launch new features.
- Product Strategy: Build a product-led-growth skillset by analyzing market trends, industry best practices, and understanding user behavior to inform strategic decisions.
- Professional communication skills: Experience working on a large and collaborative team that spans across multiple teams and functions.

You May Also Have:
- Previous experience in product management or product growth.
- Experience working with consumer digital products.
- A passion for outdoor and ocean-based activities.

Expected weekly base salary: $1,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits that may be offered in connection with the advertised role.
