TDI is currently seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to join our Human Resources Team in Washington, D.C. This role will provide essential administrative support across various HR functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and an excellent employee experience.
Job Responsibilities
The HR Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:
- HR Administrative Support: Assist with maintaining employee records, updating HR databases, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Benefits & Leave Administration: Support benefits enrollment, answer employee questions, and assist with leave of absence requests.
- Recruitment Support: Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and collaborating with hiring managers to attract top talent.
- HR Systems Maintenance: Update and manage HRIS and ATS systems, ensuring accuracy in employee records and job postings.
- Compliance & Documentation: Responsible for employment verification, maintain personnel files, and ensure HR documents are up to date.
- Performance Review Coordination: Assist in organizing performance reviews, track completion status, and support managers with basic review processes.
- Onboarding & Orientation Assistance: Prepare onboarding materials, support the onboarding process, and ensure a smooth new-hire experience.
- HR Reporting & Data Entry: Collect and enter HR-related data, generate basic reports, and assist in tracking key HR metrics (e.g., headcount, new hires).
- General HR Support: Respond to employee questions, direct inquiries to appropriate HR contacts, and provide administrative assistance across HR functions.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the HR Coordinator position will possess the following:
- Education: Associate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in human resources and/or talent acquisition.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and best practices.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end recruitment processes and HR functions.
- Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills for employee training and engagement initiatives.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Experience in workforce planning and succession management.
Location: Washington, DC | Monday - Friday (In-Person)
Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000
