Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to support all aspects of HR across our 8 branches in the Mid-Atlantic region. From onboarding and benefits administration to compliance and safety programs, you’ll play a key role in keeping our teams running smoothly. Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive Salary: $65,000–$79,000 annually, based on experience
- Flexible Work Environment: Hybrid-remote flexibility! Work from our Easton, MD corporate office every Tuesday and Wednesday, with occasional additional days. A company laptop is provided for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Benefits & Personnel: Manage employee benefits, maintain personnel and medical records, support HRIS updates, and assist with open enrollment.
- Insurance & Compliance: Handle corporate insurance claims, maintain accurate documentation, ensure labor law compliance, and manage certifications/licenses.
- Driver Records & Workplace Safety: Oversee driver files, schedule DOT physicals, track expirations, manage OSHA reporting, and coordinate PPE and Boot/Tool programs.
- Onboarding & Integration: Facilitate smooth onboarding for new Team MATEs, ensure proper documentation, and track completion of safety training.
- HR Support & Reporting: Support performance management, training initiatives, employee engagement programs, and track HR metrics/KPIs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong drive, initiative, and problem-solving mindset
- Relationship-building skills and effective communication
- HR analytics savvy with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with HRIS and other HR software tools
- Prior HR experience in benefits, compliance, or employee relations is preferred
