Channel Planning Analyst

Tecovas is looking for a Channel Planning Analyst to join our Planning team. In this role, you’ll provide critical support across retail assortment planning, purchase order management and analytical reporting. Reporting directly to the Manager of Channel Planning, you will help scale a more data-driven, strategic approach to Retail planning—contributing to both big-picture thinking and the detailed execution that drives product success in stores.
This role is required to be based in Austin, TX. Candidates must either be currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.
What you’ll do:
Sales Reporting & Strategic Insights
- Drive weekly Retail sales reporting and contribute to monthly and quarterly business recaps
- Refresh and maintain key reporting tools, focusing on automation and improved usability
- Collect cross-functional feedback to inform in-season decision-making across Planning, Allocation, and Merchandising
- Identify opportunities to drive sales and improve performance across Apparel and Accessories by analyzing trends, performance metrics, and field feedback
Assortment Strategy & Seasonal Planning
- Contributing to pre-season planning and manage store level assortments for Apparel and Accessories
- Attending key milestone meetings with cross-functional teams to understand product strategy and ensure strong retail execution.
- Identifying in-season optimization and expansion opportunities
- Focus on improving processes and building sustainable strategies for long-term growth.
Planning Operations & Tool Management
- Write, manage, and submit purchase orders with a focus on consolidating to a monthly cadence to streamline workflows.
- Maintain and update key planning tools, including flow sheets and attribute-level reporting
Experience we’re looking for:
- 0–2 years of experience in Retail Planning, Merchandising, or Allocation or Finance
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and experience with reporting tools like Tableau or similar is a plus!
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple timelines and recurring processes
- Clear and effective communication skills
