Summary:

​The Finance Intern supports the Finance team with financial analysis, reporting, and operational support. This role offers hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis while helping maintain financial accuracy and supporting decision-making across the organization. ​

Duties & Responsibilities:

• ​Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses under the guidance of finance team members.
• ​Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including reconciliations and journal entry preparation.
• ​Help maintain financial models and dashboards for internal reporting and business planning.
• ​Conduct research and compile data to support budgeting and financial planning processes.
• ​Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and documentation of internal controls.
• ​Collaborate with cross-functional departments to gather financial data and insights.
• ​Learn and utilize finance systems and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP software, reporting tools). ​

Job Complexity:

Performs clearly defined tasks under supervision; contributes to ongoing finance projects and reporting needs. ​

Required Supervision:

Works closely with senior analysts or finance managers; receives structured mentorship and feedback. ​

Expertise:

Foundational knowledge of financial principles; developing skills in analysis, reporting, and business operations. ​

Qualifications:

• ​Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• ​Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• ​Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial systems or ERP tools is a plus.
• ​Interest in financial modeling, reporting, or planning and analysis.
• ​Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• ​Eagerness to learn in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
