Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Marketing to lead our global marketing efforts. This role requires a strategic thinker who can dive into the details, manage a team, and execute effectively. The Head of Marketing will oversee the global marketing function, including Content and Channel Marketing, Business Development and Brand, and Stakeholder Engagement and Experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day execution of the global marketing function, supporting overall marketing plans and objectives.
- Manage and develop the marketing team, ensuring high-quality work, setting priorities, making decisions, and providing coaching and training.
- Partner with the Chief Integration Officer and regional/business leaders to develop annual marketing priorities, plans, and budgets; measure and report progress regularly.
- Communicate proactively with leadership, addressing questions/issues as needed; serve as the primary contact for business and regional leads on marketing initiatives.
- Evolve internal and external stakeholder communication plans, processes, and content.
- Lead special projects and serve as the in-house expert for MarTech tools and vendors.
- Negotiate and fulfill key corporate sponsorships, partnerships, memberships, and vendor relationships.
- Create, maintain, and monitor a Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI) dashboard to measure initiative effectiveness; propose and implement improvements as needed.
- Uphold the Teneo brand, ensuring market positioning and adherence to visual brand guidelines.
- Oversee the global thought leadership program, including content development, quality control, and amplification across external channels.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership capabilities with a strong work ethic, high ethical standards, and the ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong editorial and proofreading abilities.
- Superior project management and organizational skills, with creative problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
- Resourceful, team-oriented, enthusiastic, collaborative, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive and demanding assignments simultaneously.
- Experience with various MarTech tools (CRM, CMS, Google Analytics, etc.) and vendors; proficiency in data synthesis and management preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
- 15+ years of experience in marketing, communications, and/or related fields; experience in professional services strongly preferred.
- Must be based in New York City and work from the midtown office at least three days per week.
- Periodic domestic and international travel required.

Base Salary Range
$275,000 - $325,000 (compensation for this role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience that may fall outside of the range listed).

Flexible Work Policy
Work Arrangement: Hybrid from NYC office (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Teneo believes in in-person collaboration when possible and if you are assigned to the New York offices, the company expectation is for employees to work from the office location a minimum of three times a week.
