The Role 

As part of ambitious growth plans for our already successful Saudi business, we are looking for Senior Consultants and Managers to join our Financial Advisory team in the Kingdom. Our Senior Consultants and Managers will be supporting on a diverse range of challenging engagements and will support the leadership team with client service and delivery.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Conducting industry and business research as required
  • Assisting with detailed financial and commercial analysis of businesses to identify key issues, challenges, opportunities and risks
  • Assisting with liquidation, valuation analysis and financial modelling
  • Synthesizing and presenting findings clearly in client reports
  • Producing high quality deliverables within planned timescales
  • Supporting and contributing to client presentations and wider advisory work
  • Supporting senior team members during client meetings and presentations
  • Supporting senior team in business development initiatives

Examples of the types of projects you would be expected to work on include:

  • Company diagnostic, turnaround planning, and implementation
  • Debt restructuring
  • Short-term cash flow forecasting and cash management office set-up
  • Preparation and validation of business plans
  • Independent business reviews and options analysis
  • Working capital management
  • Operational cost reduction
  • Interim management and active PMO leadership

Key Skills & Experience

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in restructuring and turnaround, Financial Advisory, Investment Banking, and/or other areas of Corporate Finance.
  • Well-developed financial analysis skills, with an ability to analyse financial statements and extract useful information from large sets of unorganized or incomplete data
  • Technical proficiency across the MS Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in the English language is required
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Flexibility to meet peak demands when required and prioritise workloads
  • Act with discretion, integrity and professionalism at all times

Preferred Qualifications

  • An Accounting degree is not essential, but candidates with a thorough understanding of accounting concepts will be preferred
  • Arabic language skills are strongly preferred, but not mandatory. Experience in the UAE or KSA market is strongly preferred
  • An understanding of data analytics tools like PowerBI, Tableau and Alteryx  
  • Key functional experience in core finance topic areas, including company analysis, options reviews, cash flow management, financial modelling, and debt restructuring
