About the role
The Nuclear Company is seeking a motivated Associate Recruiter to support high volume hiring across our growing nuclear energy services portfolio. This role will focus on recruiting skilled trades professionals including millwrights, electricians, machinists, and other craft roles supporting outage, maintenance, and project work nationwide.
The Associate Recruiter will manage the full recruiting lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support while building strong pipelines of qualified trades talent. This role partners closely with hiring managers, clients, and workforce development partners to ensure the timely deployment of skilled workers to meet project and operational needs.
This role reports to the Head of Talent.
Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting:
Manage the entire recruitment process, including:
- Developing job descriptions and posting open positions on relevant platforms.
- Source qualified candidates through trade specific job boards, networking, referrals, workforce partners, and industry platforms.
- Conduct high volume resume reviews and phone screens to evaluate technical skills, certifications, availability, and deployment readiness.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and project teams.
- Managing candidate communication and providing a positive candidate experience.
- Support offer preparation, pre-employment steps, and onboarding coordination.
Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Building:
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of skilled trades talent to support ongoing and future workforce needs.
- Proactively source passive candidates and maintain a deployment ready pool of qualified trades professionals.
- Utilize advanced search techniques and tools to identify top talent in the nuclear energy field.
- Maintain organized candidate records and talent pools within the applicant tracking system.
Relationship Management:
- Support recruiting initiatives that expand the company’s reach within the skilled trades workforce.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers, understanding their needs and providing them with regular updates on the recruitment process.
- Participate in job fairs, workforce development events, trade schools, and industry recruiting events.
- Maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing them with timely feedback and guidance.
Data & Analytics:
- Produce weekly hiring reports for hiring managers
- Maintain accurate candidate data, screening notes, and pipeline tracking within the ATS.
- Assist in ad hoc reporting
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in a technical or engineering field.
- Experience recruiting in the nuclear energy industry or another highly regulated environment is a plus.
Skills:
- Systems thinker – you see the big picture and how to connect infrastructure and process.
- Strong sourcing and candidate identification skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems, preferably Greenhouse, and other recruiting tools.

Estimated Starting Salary Range
The estimated starting salary range for this role is $100,000-$110,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
