• Read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), loop drawings, and installation drawings.
• Install and support transmitters, gauges, sensing lines, and control valve connections.
• Perform leak checks and pressure testing of tubing systems prior to turnover or startup.
• Follow nuclear safety procedures, radiation protection requirements, and plant work control processes.
• Execute work in accordance with plant work packages, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Work with instrumentation technicians and plant maintenance teams during outage work activities.
Experience / Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience installing instrument tubing or working in instrumentation installation within industrial, power generation, or nuclear environments.
• Experience installing and assembling small-bore tubing systems using compression fittings such as Swagelok or Parker.
• Ability to read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), loop drawings, and installation drawings.
• Experience working during plant outages, turnarounds, or major maintenance projects preferred.
