About The Role
This is a 3 month internship starting at $25 per hour. This role is not eligible for benefits and is open to graduates or students graduating in the Fall 2024/Spring 2025 school years.
We are looking for a Content Creator Intern to join our team and play a key role in shaping our social media presence. This internship is perfect for a creative self-starter who is passionate about storytelling, user-generated content (UGC), and social media trends. With strong performance, this role has the potential to transition into a full-time content creator position.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Create, edit, and appear in UGC-focused content, including TikToks, Instagram Reels, and other short-form videos.
- Comfortable appearing on camera and creating engaging, high-quality content.
- Use CapCut and in-platform editing tools on TikTok/Instagram to produce a set number of videos each week.
- Analyze in-platform metrics to track content performance.
- Identify trends and provide insights on what’s working (or not) to optimize content strategy.
- Proactively propose and execute new UGC ideas with compelling storytelling.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure brand consistency across all content.
- Take initiative and operate with a self-starter mindset.
We’re Excited About Your:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and audience engagement strategies.
- A proven track record of growing and managing a social media presence on TikTok or Instagram.
- Proficiency in video editing using CapCut, in-platform TikTok/Instagram tools, or other relevant software.
- Experience with iPhone videography, including knowledge of lighting, composition, and editing techniques.
- Ownership of relevant filming equipment such as lights, tripods, or stabilizers is a plus.
- Comfortable appearing on camera and creating engaging, high-quality content.
- Prior experience with UGC content creation is highly preferred.
- Ability to analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Strong awareness of social media trends, viral content, and emerging digital conversations.
- Highly engaged in online health and wellness communities, with a keen understanding of digital culture and influencer marketing.
- Creative, adaptable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
