
Retail Sales Specialist (Summer Internship - North/South Shore, Mass)

The Retail Sales Specialist(s) will visit key accounts in their assigned territory and work with local distributors and distributor sales reps to increase visibility, availability and overall presence of our brands inside assigned territories (Boston, MA). The position requires a self- motivated, organized, energetic, and creative person.
The Retail Sales Specialist(s) will report to the Retail Sales Manager and work remotely out of North OR South Shore, Mass.
What You’ll Do:
- Build out both small and large displays using cases of product (can range from 10-35 pounds)
- Develop and maintain an organized list of key accounts in the territory
- Develop plans within territory to execute programming given from Vita Coco
- Sell our brand to retailers in coordination with local distributors and brokers
- Enhance the business by gaining new points of distribution
- Proper shelf management positions for cold and ambient
- Permanent and paper POS placements and display merchandising
What You’ll Bring:
- Ability to drive in‑store execution, including distribution, display, and shelf set improvement.
- Manage time and priorities effectively to stay organized and meet goals.
- Build strong relationships with partners and customers.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to travel regularly within the assigned market
- Ability to lift cases of product between 10-35 pounds and place products on overhead shelving
- Ability to walk upwards of ~20k steps daily; stand and walk for long periods of time
Hourly Rate: $18.00
Length of Internship: 3 months plus (June through August 2026)
Availability: 20-25 hours a week
