As the Associate Manager, Social Content, you’ll create the scrappy, socially-led content that keeps Vita Coco always on, and fully own TikTok and YouTube. You’ll report to the Director, Content & Growth. You’ll work day to day with our Social Producer and Social Community Manager. 

  • Lead low-fi, socially-led content that reacts to culture in real time. 
  • Own TikTok and YouTube, lead big idea sessions and manage creator relationships. 

LOCATION: This is a hybrid role based in our New York City HQ, with three days a week in the office. 

IN A NUTSHELL, YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:  

  • Create low-fi, socially-led video and photo content, from concept to post. 
  • Fully manage TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram Reels including planning, publishing and performance. 
  • Work with Social Producer to curate an on-brand, aesthetic Instagram feed 
  • Bring new socially-led partnerships to the table 
  • Support with community management – we always reply! 
  • Lead brainstorms and big idea sessions. 
  • Source, brief and own relationships with content creators. 
  • Turn trends into fast, reactive content. 
  • Rally employees to appear in content. 
  • Share TikTok and YouTube learnings/metrics for monthly reporting. 
  • Test on LinkedIn! Is it the new frontier?  
  • Constantly be pushing the envelope in terms of what social media marketing can be, should be and is. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:  

Must-Haves 

  • 3–5 years creating social content for a brand, agency or as a creator. 
  • Hands-on short-form shooting and editing skills. 
  • Deep knowledge of TikTok and YouTube. 
  • Experience managing content creators. 

Nice-to-Haves 

  • Experience growing a YouTube or LinkedIn channel 
  • Comfort on camera. 
  • Experience in beverage, CPG, wellness or sports brands.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:  

Three days a week in our NYC office, plus shoots and events as needed. 

Occasional after-hours posting around cultural moments. 

This is a reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

US Pay Range

$80,000 - $100,000 USD
