ABOUT THE TEAM
Our team plays a vital role in supporting and engaging with Tide’s existing member base, helping them save time and money by promoting products and services that empower their businesses to thrive. Over the past three years, we’ve scaled from a team of 5 to 50 passionate Tideans, creating exciting growth opportunities and a dynamic work environment. By relaying member feedback to key stakeholders, we ensure that our voice directly shapes Tide’s product offerings. As part of this team, you’ll have the chance to trial innovative initiatives, collaborate with diverse teams across the business, and make a tangible impact on the success of our members.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Sales Enablement Trainer to empower our inside sales teams to achieve peak performance through exceptional training, enablement, and quality assurance initiatives. You will work closely with sales leaders, product teams, and quality assurance to ensure team members have the knowledge, tools, and skills needed to succeed.
This role requires a blend of sales expertise, training delivery, and data-driven insights to enhance individual and team performance, ensuring Tide’s high standards of customer experience and revenue growth are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Enablement:
- Design and implement a comprehensive enablement strategy for the inside sales team, focusing on onboarding, ongoing skill development, and process optimisation.
- Collaborate with product teams to develop materials and sessions that enhance product knowledge and ensure alignment with current offerings.
- Create, maintain, and update a library of resources, including sales scripts, objection handling guides, playbooks, and reference documents.
- Leverage sales tools (e.g., Babelforce, CRM platforms) to track performance and refine strategies.
Training & Development:
- Deliver engaging, interactive training sessions for new hires and experienced team members, covering sales techniques, product knowledge, and compliance.
- Support new agents from their initial onboarding and training to passing them into their product area, ready to drive and perform in their team.
- Partner with sales leaders to identify skill gaps and tailor training programs to address them effectively.
- Develop e-learning modules and microlearning resources for continuous professional development.
- Ensure all training materials are aligned with Tide’s culture, values, and sales objectives.
Quality Assurance:
- Partner with the QA team to develop and implement robust quality monitoring frameworks.
- Analyze sales performance data and call recordings to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide actionable feedback to team members to refine their approach, improve conversion rates, and enhance member experiences.
- Track and report on quality assurance metrics and make recommendations for improvements to processes and KPIs.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Essential:
- Proven experience in sales enablement, training, or a related role within a fast-paced sales environment.
- Strong knowledge of sales strategies, techniques, and CRM tools.
- Experience in quality assurance frameworks and performance coaching.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging training sessions tailored to diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights from data and drive actionable outcomes.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with the banking or fintech industry.
- Experience working with Babelforce or similar call performance tools.
- Certification in sales training or coaching (e.g., Train the Trainer, Sandler, or SPIN).
