About the Role

As Chief Growth Officer, you will be responsible for redefining TransferGo’s growth strategy by focusing on organic, product-led growth (PLG) and shifting the company away from expensive paid acquisition channels. You will spearhead SEO-driven user acquisition, content marketing, lifecycle engagement, and customer retention initiatives to drive sustainable revenue growth.

You will lead a cross-functional growth team, collaborating with the CEO, CTO, CFO, VP of Marketing, and Product Leaders to optimize customer acquisition costs (CAC), maximize retention, and unlock new growth levers. Your expertise in growth hacking, data-driven marketing, and churn management will be critical to expanding our market share in high-growth remittance corridors and emerging economies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an organic growth strategy that drives sustainable, long-term acquisition and revenue expansion.
  • Reduce reliance on paid acquisition by leveraging SEO, ASO, content marketing, referral programs, and community-driven strategies.
  • Implement churn management and customer retention programs to increase engagement, reactivation, and lifetime value (LTV).
  • Optimise SEO, content marketing, and inbound acquisition channels to increase top-of-funnel growth.
  • Design and oversee A/B testing, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), and behavioural analytics to maximise funnel performance.
  • Develop growth loops, virality mechanics, and referral incentives to drive product-led adoption.
  • Use AI-driven personalisation, predictive analytics, and automation to enhance customer experience and engagement.
  • Build a data-driven lifecycle marketing strategy across email, SMS, push notifications, and CRM automation.
  • Partner with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to improve the user journey and onboarding experience.
  • Expand B2B and SME adoption through strategic partnerships with banks, fintechs, and payment processors.
  • Own go-to-market strategies for new products, features, and international expansion.
  • Define and track key growth metrics, including CAC, LTV, retention rates, virality, and content performance.
  • Align growth initiatives with financial and revenue expansion goals, working closely with the CFO to ensure high marketing ROI.

Who You Are:

  • 10+ years of experience in growth marketing, SEO, lifecycle marketing, and retention-focused strategies within fintech, payments, or high-growth digital businesses.
  • Proven track record in reducing churn, increasing retention, and driving sustainable revenue growth.
  • Deep expertise in organic acquisition, SEO, content strategy, and viral marketing mechanics.
  • Strong understanding of growth hacking techniques, referral loops, and product-led growth (PLG) strategies.
  • Experience leading and scaling data-driven growth teams across marketing, product, and analytics.
  • Skilled in attribution modeling, predictive analytics, and AI-driven marketing automation.
  • Deep familiarity with cross-border payments, remittances, and the fintech ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in fintech marketing (AML, KYC, PSD2, GDPR) is a plus.

Salary from €130,000 per annum
