Outbound Sales Representative

Triumvirate Environmental, a leading environmental services firm in North America, is hiring an Outbound Sales Representative to join our corporate office in Somerville, MA. This is a fast-paced, in-office role for someone who thrives on phone outreach, relationship-building, and hitting performance targets. As an Outbound Sales Representative, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients. Your primary focus will be on high-volume outbound cold calling and following up with warm leads, using a consultative approach to qualify prospects. You'll work closely with the Business Development team to schedule meetings, gather insights, and help drive new business for Triumvirate Environmental.

This position is based onsite at our corporate office in Somerville, MA and reports directly to the Director of Sales.

Essential responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective clients in a targeted market.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand and qualify the needs of potential clients.
  • Identify and document prospects' problems and needs.
  • Schedule and secure follow-up meetings for the Business Development team based on insights gathered.
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions and progress in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance sales strategies and approaches.
  • Achieve or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly calls and meeting goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field, with a strong interest in pursuing a sales career.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with a solid understanding of the consultative sales process, supported by formal training or extensive research.
  • Knowledge of RCRA, DOT, and OSHA regulations is advantageous.
  • Experience with CRM systems, sales campaigns, and prospecting strategies to drive new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a commitment to mentoring and coaching team members.
  • Exceptional listening skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse personalities and organizational levels.
  • Strong communication skills with the capability to manage multiple projects and proactively follow up on progress.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
  • Proactive self-starter who excels independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Resourceful and adept at navigating complex situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
