QA/QC Specialist
Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a QA/QC Specialist for our Casa Grande, AZ team.
As a QA/QC Specialist you will manage the sampling and analysis of incoming materials to assist in validating the facility acceptance criteria and profile compliance as required by the regulatory operating permits. Your role will require strong attention to detail and effective collaboration with facility personnel.

This position reports to Facility Specialist. This role is onsite and is based in Casa Grande, AZ.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of Triumvirate’s Health and Safety Practices, Triumvirate’s operating permits, and regulations.
- Sample incoming materials and conduct analysis using basic chemistry functions as required by the facility permits.
- Perform laboratory sample receipt activities, preparation of and routine analysis of samples along with sample storage, tracking and disposal of samples and lab generated waste.
- Develop knowledge of QA/QC and basic lab functions related to material verification and validation activities
- Ability to work with computerized waste tracking system including data entry of sample results
- Assist with waste determinations/profile management
- Recommend and assist with the consolidation of waste according to permits, disposal facility requirements, and customer preferences
- Learn to prepare outgoing sample shipments in accordance with regulations
- Demonstrate the ability to be creative and solve unique problems.
- Waste inventory management and emergency response as appropriate.
- Assist with general facility compliance including performing daily/weekly/monthly compliance checks, training, SOP implementation/review, and process review
- Personality conducive to teamwork
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum of an associate’s degree in environmental science, safety or a related degree required OR 2+ years of industry or relative Military experience
- Show determination/eagerness to learn and retain a basic knowledge of daily work practices.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Suite, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication, problem solving, and relationship building skills preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
- Must have a reliable form of transportation
- Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
- Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
- Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)
- Must be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts
- The QA/QC Specialist frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety-sensitive.
Preferred Requirements:
- Prior relevant industry experience
- Active HAZWOPER 24 or 40 hour certification
- Willingness to obtain Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
