About The Role
We're looking for an energetic, people-loving Community Manager to help grow Picnic’s presence in San Francisco. You’ll be the heartbeat of our local efforts, building strong relationships with restaurants, connecting with our eaters, and leading grassroots marketing to boost awareness and adoption.
This is a great role for someone early in their career (recent grads welcome!) who is organized, outgoing, and ready to hustle and make things happen.
What You’ll Do
- Customer Engagement: Serve as the go-to contact for companies and employees using the Picnic platform, ensuring a seamless experience that drives loyalty and repeat orders.
- Local Marketing: Plan and execute creative grassroots campaigns; pop-ups, tastings, events, and anything else that will put Picnic on the map in your city.
- Content & Social: Craft our local brand voice and create engaging content that resonates with the community.
- Restaurant Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with local restaurant partners; check in often, gather insights, and make sure they have everything they need to thrive.
- City Growth: Increase the number of active eaters in your market through strategic outreach and community building.
- Brand Presence: Drive awareness and expand Picnic’s presence in offices and workplaces.
- Partner Success: Strengthen restaurant partnerships and maintain high satisfaction levels.
- On-the-Ground Insights: Act as Picnic’s eyes and ears in the market, spot trends, surface opportunities, and share actionable feedback with the broader team.
About You:
- You are a recent grad from a top school and ready to dive in.
- You have pulled off events or campus happenings before, for college clubs or non-profits.
- You’re a natural connector, warm, confident, and people remember you after they meet you.
- You thrive on staying organized and can juggle a dozen moving parts without breaking a sweat.
- You’re comfortable with data (Google Sheets, dashboards) and know how to turn it into smart decisions.
- You get excited about startups, great food, and bringing people together.
What Else You Need To Know
We’re looking for a dynamic, people-focused Community Manager to grow Picnic’s presence in San Francisco. This role is split between our San Francisco office and the field, combining in-office collaboration with time out in the community meeting people, building relationships, and growing Picnic’s local presence.
