Opportunity
Our team is on the cutting edge of blending healthcare and technology. The ideal candidate is an experienced technical leader with a strong track record of delivering impactful projects. You will be leading our Partner Integrations team and oversee the integration of various data feeds for medical claims and coverage eligibility, as well as the development and management of crucial systems including real-time eligibility checks, and billing engines. You will also lead and mentor engineers, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and drive efficiency and innovation in our operations.
Responsibilities
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability.
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Define and execute the strategic direction for partner integrations, collaborate with teams across the organization and ensure alignment with the company's overall objectives.
- External Integrations: Establish scalable processes for integrating various data feeds from partners and implement API-based integrations with external systems ensuring high reliability and performance.
- Technical Excellence: Architect highly efficient, scalable data pipelines and develop build well-designed schemas as well as coordinate the data flows with other data teams
- Continuous Improvement: Continually assess and improve processes and technologies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and data integrity. Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering or data engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing engineering teams. Proven track record of successful data integration projects.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor engineering teams. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience collaborating closely with external partners to work through negotiating integrations, partner needs, etc., in close coordination with partner success.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills, well-versed in agile methodologies with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Data Integration Skills: Expertise in data processing and transformation, API development, strong database knowledge and experience working with cloud databases like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc..
- Technical Skills: Experience building and deploying services in the cloud using Kubernetes, Lambdas, etc. Strong programming skills in at least one language like Java, Python, etc.
- Nice to have: Experience with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and integrations with PBMs (e.g. CVS Caremark, OptumRx) are highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $200,000-$230,000 annually.
