Principal Contracts Administrator - Hybrid

As we continue to grow, Two Six Technologies is seeking a Principal Contracts Administrator who will thrive in a dynamic, agile organization. We are a high-growth organization with unique expertise and innovative products that support missions critical to U.S. national security. You will be responsible for overseeing, administering, and negotiating federal contracts from proposal development through contract closeout. This position serves as an interface between our clients, legal, finance, and program management teams to ensure compliance with federal regulations, contract terms, and company policies. Ideally you will bring a deep understanding of FAR/DFARS, the federal acquisition process, and have extensive experience in managing complex contracts in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid position working from our Arlington, VA office 2 days per week.
What you will do:
- Administer the full contract lifecycle, including contract setup, modifications, performance tracking, and closeout, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations, developing solutions to mitigate contract risks.
- Collaborate with business development, program management, and subcontracts teams during the proposal process, including RFP/RFQ review, risk assessment, and development of terms and conditions.
- Lead contract negotiations with federal agencies and prime contractors to secure favorable terms and mitigate risk. Support negotiations on non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, software license agreements, pricing, scope changes, and terms.
- Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries, liaising between customers, prime contractors, finance, subcontracts, and upper management to resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare and maintain contract file documentation and records according to company policy and federal guidelines.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior contract administrators and other team members as necessary.
- Tracking and reporting on the status of contract requirements and deliverables, as well as compliance reporting.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, or equal relevant experience and professional training
- 9+ years of relevant professional experience
- 7+ years of experience in a contracts management and/or a procurement role
- Solid knowledge of FAR, DFARS, relevant contract laws and regulations, and DCAA/DCMA compliance
- Advanced skills with MS Office (particularly Excel)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Active Top Secret clearance

The projected salary range listed for this position is annualized. This is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Salary is one component of our total compensation package and the specific salary offered is determined by various factors, including, but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, geographic location, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.

$99,000 - $211,000 USD
