Unbounce is looking for a People Operations Generalist to join our team. This position is part of the People Operations team, which designs and operates the systems and processes to deliver an outstanding employee experience to all Unbouncers.  They work closely with the other members of the People Operations team and assist with day to day generalist functions within the P&C team. Within this role, they will also support with Business Partner responsibilities, supporting a portfolio of departmental leaders.  This role reports directly to the Senior Manager, People Operations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Business Partner Support: Build and develop strong relationships & trust with all leaders in your business portfolio, with a strong business acumen and understanding of their teams
  • Team Support: Supporting the team with various initiatives such as position changes, salary increases, performance management, compensation reviews, etc.
  • Unbouncer Journey Support: Deliver exceptional service to our employees and managers by promptly addressing inquiries regarding our policies, benefits, and various employee programs. This includes owning the onboarding program, managing the offboarding process, responding to employee inquiries etc.
  • Administrative Support: Handling administrative tasks related to P&C programs such as managing employee files, maintaining our HRIS (BambooHR), managing employee benefits, employee leaves (STD, LTD, mat & pat leave), salary surveys etc. Ensure our systems and processes are maintained while also creating and updating People Operations internal & external documentation
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures, health & safety and applicable laws and regulations
  • Programs/Key Initiatives: Collaborate & support the People team through developing, iterating and rolling out employee programs, such as performance enablement, annual compensation review and engagement surveys to enhance the employee experience and allow Unbouncers to do their best work
  • P&C Reporting: Assisting with the preparation of reports and analytics

 

A little bit about you:

  • You have 2+ years of people & culture experience, ideally within fast paced and high growth environment
  • You are a go getter and excited to roll up your sleeves and contribute to all parts of the People Operations team
  • You have experience working within HR systems (bonus points if you have experience working with HiBob, Confluence and/or Monday.com)
  • You have a keen eye for detail, have a problem solving mindset and have a genuine curiosity for leveraging people data/analytics for business insights
  • Have a high sense of urgency and a desire to provide world class customer service to Unbouncers
  • You have a growth mindset and adopt a fail fast, learn fast mentality
  • You have a bias for action and take steps to address challenges and pursue opportunities

Nice to haves:

  • Experience working with US employment law
  • Experience working with EORs  (bonus points if you have experience working with Remote.com and/or Trinet)
