About the role
The Valuation Analyst provides analytical support for real estate investment decisions by reviewing third-party valuations, conducting internal assessments, and reconciling values with AVM outputs. This role identifies risks, flags discrepancies, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to recommend solutions. A strong background in residential real estate appraisal and familiarity with capital markets is essential. The analyst also supports process improvements to enhance valuation accuracy and efficiency.
What you’ll do
- Review third-party valuations for accuracy, quality, and alignment with internal guidelines.
- Reconcile property values against AVM assessments and identify discrepancies.
- Conduct internal property valuations and document key findings.
- Communicate valuation analyses, risks, and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
- Provide analytical support and assist with special projects across the real estate portfolio.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance valuation accuracy and efficiency.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business or Real Estate) or sufficient work experience in real estate valuation.
- 5+ years reviewing third-party valuations and evaluating residential real estate in a multi-state lending environment.
- Experience in a startup environment and non-traditional lending environment, preferred.
- PC skills include working knowledge of the Microsoft environment and the ability to access, manipulate, organize and relay information in a meaningful way.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to effectively partner with leaders across multiple functions
- Ability to work in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
- Experience working at a lender specializing in home equity products.

Target base compensation is $100,000 annually. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
