Title: Senior Content Manager
Direct Manager Title: Director of Content (Corporate Marketing)

The Role
Unlock Health is seeking an energetic, creative, and collaborative Senior Content Manager to help execute our enterprise content strategy and production efforts within the corporate marketing team. This individual will play a critical role in driving revenue, amplifying our brand, and diversifying our market presence through creation of clear and compelling content that positions Unlock as a thought leader for tackling our healthcare clients’ toughest challenges. This person is curious, team-oriented, adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines, and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to get the job done.

What You’ll Do

  • Content Strategy
    • Contribute to the development of Unlock’s editorial calendars in alignment with the enterprise content strategy, corporate marketing objectives, and other priority initiatives across individual lines of business
    • Collaborate with the Director of Content to identify and develop new priority content initiatives
    • Develop and execute against content plans tailored for the Unlock brand, lines of business, and unique customer pain points we solve
    • Support Unlock enterprise brand messaging initiatives and extension into priority marketing and sales enablement content
  • Content Creation & Management
    • Oversee the creation and management of all content types, including written, visual, and multimedia content, in partnership with creative teams
    • Follow the content process to ensure high-quality, consistent, and timely content production
    • Contribute to the corporate marketing calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns, business objectives, and content pillars.
    • Work closely with the corporate marketing team to understand their initiatives and related content needs
    • Draft and review content briefs to guide the content creation process, ensuring they align with the specific objectives of each content pillar
    • Ensure all content meets brand standards, strategic objectives, and the unique requirements of each content pillar
  • Support & Collaboration
    • Contribute openly, honestly, and collaboratively to help create a team environment that encourages creativity and excellence
    • Develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and integrated content efforts
    • Support the corporate marketing team with priority content needs, including executive communications, thought leadership pieces, and key marketing materials
    • Collaborate with other corporate marketing functions, including digital, social media, and PR, to ensure integrated and effective content distribution
    • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to optimize strategy and improve outcomes

Ideal Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in content strategy and creation, with a strong focus on healthcare marketing
    • Understanding of managed care is helpful, but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms with a strong understanding of SEO strategy
