Job Summary

The Manager, Forecasting & Systems will be a critical member of UNREAL’s Customer Strategy & Planning team, serving as the point person for building out systems to manage trade promotions and forecasting across the business. They will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining channel and SKU level forecasts for select accounts with a key emphasis on forecast accuracy to maximize sales and optimize in-stocks. This role will be responsible for implementing a new TPM system to aid in trade planning and forecasting. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and embraces a fast-paced, often changing environment. 

The Manager, Forecasting & Systems will be a vital member of the UNREAL Customer Strategy & Planning team and report directly to the VP of Customer Strategy & Planning. 

What You’ll Do

  • Implement tools and systems to aid in the delivery of an accurate trade promotion management and demand forecast, inclusive of core and seasonal products and one-time sales & marketing programs
  • Ensure forecast assumption accuracy through analysis of base business trends, promotional activity, new launch volume, VM & retrofit updates, channel expansion and seasonal volume
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and DTC teams to gather inputs and align on retail sales and sell-in plans
  • Collaborate with Ops/Demand Planning to provide Sales forecast inputs and align on an executable supply plan to meet forecast requirements
  • Work closely with Ops/Demand Planning to understand known supply constraints or excess inventory risks
  • Work closely with retailer partners to align on demand trends, inventory levels and open-to-buy plans
  • Measure forecast accuracy with the goal to maximize sales while optimizing inventory levels across retailers
  • Own new launch forecast for respective accounts to support all marketing and promotional strategies
  • Analyze historical sales data and future programming to achieve continuous improvement in demand plan accuracy
  • Update and circulate weekly and monthly business performance reports to key stakeholders
  • Participate in annual budget and reforecasting process

Who You Are

  • 3-5+ years forecasting/demand planning/trade management in CPG
  • Deep understanding of trade promotion management systems and programs
  • Experience in planning and deploying customer trade strategy with demonstrated revenue, share, and profitably growth
  • Strong CPG customer experience, involvement in customer-facing teams, customer JBPs, and experience in customer strategy setting & execution
  • Consumer and commercial acumen; ability to connect objectives to brand, portfolio, and customer strategies and align those to customer investment strategy
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel with the aptitude to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret meaningful trends from data
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional team
  • Possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to handle multiple priorities at once

The base compensation range for this position is between $100,000 - $130,000 annually. This position is also eligible for a 15% bonus. The salary range listed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Individual compensation is determined by additional factors, including role-related experience and relevant education and certifications.

*Please note, employees must be employed by 10/31/24 to be eligible for 2024 bonus.
