Overview of the role:
Join our dynamic FP&A team as a FP&A Analyst. As a key member reporting to the Manager, FP&A, you'll play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making for our leading SaaS grocery retail platform. We're seeking a curious, motivated, and detail-oriented financial professional eager to contribute to our innovative organization.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly variance analysis to identify trends and anomalies, enhancing financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Create and manage reporting templates, financial models and documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior management to provide data-driven analysis that supports operational and strategic decision-making.
- Develop and present compelling presentations of quarterly financial results and forecasts to executives.
- Support the annual budgeting process and monthly reforecasting activities.
- Identify industry trends and market dynamics to provide strategic insights for cross-functional teams.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, ensuring financial processes are efficiently streamlined, documented and implemented.
- Perform other ad hoc analysis as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Commerce or relevant degree.
- 2+ Years of professional experience in Finance or related field.
- Financial Modeling: Be able to understand and update financial models that follow industry best practices.
- Data Analysis: A passion for understanding business questions and making data driven insights. Excellent analytical skills.
- Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Business Partnership: Consistent track record of using quantitative analysis to impact key business decisions.
- Communication: Ability to present financial data concisely using detailed reports and charts and through written and oral communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Progression to a relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite is a plus
- Experience within retail, preferably grocery and/or food & beverage
- Experience with inventory, supply chain, and retail operations
- Experience with SaaS technology solutions
