Overview of the role:

As a Senior Manager, Revenue Marketing at Upshop, you'll lead the development and execution of comprehensive Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies that drive growth, enhance customer engagement, and optimize the performance of our platform. The role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to align strategies and ensure effective execution. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management of marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and GTM initiatives. 

This is an on-site opportunity (4-5 days per week) that sits within our Austin office and will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Responsibilities:

Go-to-Market Strategy Development: 

  • Partner with the CMO to develop, socialize, and execute a comprehensive GTM strategy that supports our quarterly and annual growth goals. 
  • Continuously evaluate and refine strategies to optimize performance, quality, and efficiency across all growth initiatives. 
  • Ensure alignment between global and regional strategies, ensuring consistency in messaging and execution. 

Oversee Account-Based Marketing:

  • Plan, create, and optimize global campaigns and programs that drive customer acquisition and engagement, focusing on ABM, email marketing, and events. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop campaign themes, creativity, and assets to support all regions. 
  • Lead the execution of integrated marketing campaigns, coordinating efforts across departments and regions to maximize impact. 

Field Marketing Management:

  • Own the planning, execution, and management of Upshop Altitude experience and field events.
  • Develop and execute strategies for cross-selling and upselling within existing accounts to drive account expansion. 
  • Work closely with the key account managers to identify opportunities for growth and align GTM strategies with customer needs. 

Campaign Enablement and Training:

  • Translate core campaigns into actionable sales playbooks and training materials, ensuring the GTM revenue team is fully equipped to execute campaigns and achieve growth targets. 
  • Build, refine, and review ongoing playbooks and optimize them based on feedback from the field. 
  • Create and maintain campaign enablement tools, ensuring timely and effective delivery to the sales team. 

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor Field Marketing Team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. 
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, and Marketing, to achieve business goals. 
  • Drive alignment between GTM, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure clear communication and execution of growth strategies. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field 
  • 7+ years of experience within revenue or account-based marketing 
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience 
  • Deep expertise in Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and enterprise marketing, driving successful programs and achieving monthly goals. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships with customers, thought leaders, and internal stakeholders. 
  • Proven ability to mobilize and execute large-scale events, such as user conferences. 
  • Proficient in key marketing tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, DemandBase, and 6sense. 
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on benchmarking and optimizing conversion rates. 
  • In-depth understanding of enterprise sales cycles and the ability to adapt marketing strategies accordingly. 
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective tactics that accelerate customer upscale cycles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within retail, preferably grocery and/or food & beverage 
  • Experience with inventory, supply chain, and retail operations 
  • Experience with SaaS technology solutions
