About the Role

The Senior Security Engineer will manage the security infrastructure at the company.  This role will integrate security solutions into the environment to protect end users and company’s assets including data and Intellectual Property in accordance with company Security Policies and Industry Best Practices. The Senior Security Engineer will perform security investigations, conduct forensic analysis when necessary and protecting all investigation data and reports. 

What You'll Do...

  • Work with the Technology, Science and Therapeutic teams to support all security and regulatory needs.
  • Evaluate emerging security Best Practices and regulatory requirements against Company’s current standards and improve the configuration of security controls when any gaps are found.
  • Work with business and technology groups to provide security guidance implementing configurations and controls to protect Company data and environments.
  • Perform threat hunting within user endpoints and cloud environments.
  • Establish security controls to ensure data protection and integrity to surpass all audit requirements
  • Work with compliance teams to provide up to date documentation, configurations and evidence on an ongoing basis in defense of any industry regulations or certifications.
  • Perform security investigations to document security events and identify and escalate Security Incidents.
  • Respond to emerging threats with proactive and reactive security measures as security threats evolve and are identified.
  • Manage the security infrastructure providing Single Sign-On, managed endpoints, endpoint detection and response, security logging infrastructure.
  • Perform design, configuration and support on network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, etc.
  • Work closely with Company security partners to provide a complete security program.

What You'll Bring...

  • Bachelor's Degree in technology related field or 5+ years of equivalent experience
  • Deep understanding of security controls in cloud architectures
  • Experience securing and performing incident response activities in a distributed cloud environment
  • Experience performing forensics on end points and cloud environments while preserving the chain of custody and evidence.
  • Experience protecting and hunting for threats in a cloud environment.
  • Experience Investigating phishing emails and managing similated phishing exercises using tools like Knowbe4
  • Experience performing security investigations and documenting Security Incidents.
  • Experience managing Single Sign-On and cloud authentication environments. Okta experience preferred.
  • Experience managing EDR systems. Crowdstrike experience preferred.
  • Preferred experience securing and managing M365, MS Azure, and AWS cloud environments.
  • Experience with Zero-trust, SASE solutions protecting mobile clients. Zscaler experience preferred.
  • Experience securing and managing office and physical computing environments with Next-Gen firewalls. Fortinet experience preferred.
  • Experience securing and managing virtual infrastructures. VMWare experience preferred.
