INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROLS COMMISSIONING CONSULTANT
We are seeking experienced Instrumentation and Controls Commissioning Engineers to join our team for a special project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hands-on I&C work, leading the Loop Check effort, tuning control loops, generating DCS control panels and SOV panels IQ protocols, executing and resolving incidents, updating documentation, and collaborating with automation and validation SMEs to resolve issues. The successful candidate will have extensive background experience in commissioning (CMG) for Instrumentation and Control (I&C) for regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Loop Check effort (not just documenting) and tune control loops.
- Generate DCS control panels and SOV panels IQ protocols.
- Route protocols for pre-approval and execution.
- Resolve incidents and update documentation.
- Generate CMG incidents for issues found during protocol execution.
- Collaborate with automation and validation SMEs to resolve issues and close incidents.
- Provide hands-on I&C work.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Instrumentation and Control Commissioning (CMG) for regulated industry
- Experience with PLC or DCS control panels and SOV panels IQ protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
