Job Summary:

We seek an accomplished Office Manager who views this role as a career destination, not just a steppingstone. This position serves as the operational backbone of our office, combining traditional office management with a distinctive hospitality approach. The ideal candidate will function as an in-house concierge, orchestrating a seamless experience for team members and visitors while maintaining the operational excellence that keeps our workplace running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain a welcoming, professional office environment that reflects Van Metre Homes' commitment to excellence and hospitality.
  • Manage office operations, including vendor relationships, supply management, facility maintenance coordination, and workplace safety compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing concierge-level service and solutions.
  • Oversee office budget, including tracking expenses, processing invoices, and identifying cost-optimization opportunities.
  • Coordinate office events, meetings, and special projects while ensuring exceptional attention to detail.
  • Implement and maintain efficient office systems and procedures that enhance productivity and workplace experience.
  • Manage relationships with building management, security, maintenance and IT teams.
  • Support executive team with special projects as needed.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive office management experience
  • Proven track record of implementing efficient office systems and procedures
  • Budget management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software
  • Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Compensation and Benefits information: Van Metre offers excellent benefits, and a work environment that fosters and rewards excellence.   • Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 annually (Pay is commensurate with experience, education, training, and skills)
