About the Role:

We are looking for a new member of Vercel’s BizOps & Strategy team, reporting to the VP of Strategy and Insights. This team drives critical initiatives at Vercel and directly supports the company goal of building a culture of excellence. This is a small team of highly leveraged individuals focused on executing on high-impact areas of opportunity, including:

  • Optimizing the Self-Service funnel to increase customer joy and revenue capture
  • Ensuring our pricing and packaging are aligned to customer needs across customer types and levels of usage
  • Building the business case & strategic plan to support international expansion
  • Incubating new initiatives (like a proactive support motion to high-spend customers)
  • Running company or organization-wide planning processes

People on the team spike in analytical thinking, project management, and getting stuff done. As a team member, you'll have the opportunity to help Vercel maximize its full potential and strong existing momentum. Strategy & Insights is not an "internal consulting" team - we work on key initiatives hands-on in very close coordination with product, sales, marketing, and other functional partners – and we see projects through implementation.

This is a remote position which preferences candidate location aligned with San Francisco or Pacific US time zone.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop performance metrics and drive their achievement
  • Inform company-level strategic decisions through targeted projects
  • Help other teams achieve goals and improve effectiveness
  • Develop deep expertise in critical areas like self-service revenue, customer research, or product strategy
  • Lead execution of large-scale projects that directly impact business results
  • Incubate new levers of growth
  • Drive company-wide process improvements

About You:

  • Are an analytical and structured thinker
  • Excel at finding the right metric to optimize and then optimizing it
  • Drive insight through data
  • Have a proven track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects to success
  • Are driven & highly productive
  • Are excited about rolling up your sleeves at a hyper-growth technology startup
  • Have at least a bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or other quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Have 6+ years of work experience, including a background in SaaS software. Experience in management consulting, investment banking, or private equity is a strong plus.
  • Extra credit if you have direct experience as an engineer or in using Vercel’s products!

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $154,000.00 - $216,000.00. This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your location during the hiring process.
