About the Role
Verkada’s Growth Ops team is looking for a motivated Marketing Finance Analytics Sr. Associate or Manager to support our marketing team in making smarter, data-driven decisions. In this role, you’ll track budgets, measure ROI, and analyze performance data to ensure our campaigns and programs deliver measurable impact. You’ll also partner closely with Finance and Marketing leadership to connect day-to-day operations with broader company growth goals.
You’ll play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that guide how we invest and grow. By building reports, and analyzing budget performance, you’ll provide visibility into where spend is driving pipeline and revenue. Your work will surface opportunities to improve ROI and directly influence strategic decisions around channel performance and future investments.
The ideal candidate is proficient in Excel modeling, fluent in SQL, understands the principles of effective data visualization, and knows how to contextualize their work within the business in order to drive growth with cross-functional leaders. This role reports into our Director of Data Science & Analytics. We are committed to a thriving in-office culture. This role requires that you be on-site at our HQ in San Mateo 5 days a week.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Finance and Marketing leadership to track and report on budgets, ROI, and other key funnel metrics, ensuring alignment with company-wide goals.
- Support the planning and goal-setting process and build budget forecasting models for marketing-driven pipeline by maintaining accurate data and reporting.
- Be responsible for defining and clearly articulating KPIs to serve the team and management
- Generate insights into how acquisition channels and campaigns are performing across the funnel and buying lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates and insights that help Marketing and Finance make better investment decisions.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into marketing spend and performance.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical discipline.
- 4+ years of expertise in quantitative analysis, ability to generate insights and tell a story backed by data.
- Strong background in financial modeling
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc).
- Demonstrated track record of success in fast-paced, high-growth, and self-directed work environments.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset and strong strategic instincts.
- Strong communication skills, ability to clearly articulate insights to a wide range of audiences
- Must be able and willing to work in-office 5 days a week
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in Business Analytics or a similar function (Business Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, FP&A etc)
- Experience creating executive level presentations.
- Experience building and architecting data pipelines.
- Understanding of enterprise business models and go-to-market (GTM) strategy.

Annual Pay Range
At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)
Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
Estimated Annual Pay Range
$150,000 - $195,000 USD
