About this Team and Role

The Divisional CFO for Commercial Services will be a strategic financial leader responsible for shaping and driving the financial performance, growth, and operational excellence of the Commercial Services division. Reporting directly to the EVP & GM of Commercial Services, the CFO will also partner closely with the senior leadership team of Commercial Services to plan, execute, and monitor strategies that support both organic and inorganic growth, reinforce financial discipline, and uphold high standards of compliance and governance.

What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic financial leadership, aligning divisional plans with Verra Mobility’s overall growth agenda.
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling to support informed decision-making.
  • Oversee timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting, ensuring clarity and transparency for executive leadership, the board, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance of revenue frameworks across transaction-based, subscription, and services offerings — including adherence to accounting standards and accurate financial forecasting.
  • Partner with Sales and Operations leaders to optimize pricing strategies, contract profitability, and customer economics.
  • Define, track, and communicate KPIs and financial dashboards that measure performance and guide resource allocation.
  • Support M&A and partnership opportunities, from due diligence through integration.
  • Ensure strong compliance, governance, and risk management, including SOX 404 readiness.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team, instilling a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Need

  • MBA or CPA (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership in services, SaaS, hardware, or transaction-driven businesses.
  • Experience scaling revenue in growth environments
  • M&A strategy and integration experience.
  • Strong technical foundation in FP&A, GAAP, revenue recognition, compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and leadership skills, with a history of working as a trusted thought partner to Presidents/EVPs/General Managers and senior leadership teams.
