This role will sit on-site at our facility in Springfield, Missouri!
Your Role:
What You'll Do:
- Log incidents and requests to document their outcome in the IT ticket system to facilitate the resolution.
- Perform regular walkthroughs of the plant and office facilities to identify issues and improvement opportunities and build relationships with the crew.
- Conduct regular 1st and 2nd shift leadership check-ins and support as needed.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues using available information, resources, and advise on corrective actions, as appropriate.
- Engage with facility leadership to stay attuned to changes, needs, issues faced.
- Provide user orientation, onboarding, and off-boarding support (remote or on-site).
- Provide Audio-Visual (AV) and meeting room support as required.
- Track and manage the accurate inventory of hardware and software within the plant.
- Assist with asset decommissioning.
- Ability to respond to high-priority issues after hours including weekends.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT Teams in support of Operations.
- Support users in the Springfield, MO area offices and warehouse facility
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or minimum of 2 years of experience in IT Support roles
- Strong communication skills, customer focus, and sense of urgency
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- The candidate must possess excellent written communication, customer service and interpersonal skills and should be able to work as a team. This position will require working with many types of end users.
- Working knowledge of fundamental operations of Microsoft products, PC hardware, and other equipment (e.g. printers)
- Basic understanding of networking in a business environment (TCP/IP address, DNS, switch, firewall, router, etc.)
- Previous experience supporting a manufacturing environment a plus (scanning equipment, custom software, etc.)
- Previous experience supporting Microsoft Online products (Microsoft 365 clients and Hybrid joined PC’s (intune))
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and serve multiple users at one time.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to travel 25% for team meetings, company offsites, employee onboarding trips and other business needs

At Vital Farms, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to, skill level, experience, education, training, market demands, and business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current starting annual base salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000. Please keep in mind that hiring at the maximum end of the range would not be typical in order to allow for potential continued future salary growth.
