Web Operations Specialist — Content & DAM
Join Vonage and help us innovate cloud communications for businesses worldwide!
Why this role matters:
We’re looking for a Web Operations Specialist to help bridge the gap between our digital asset management system and our website content workflows. This role will support day-to-day operations of Vonage’s digital marketing assets—including DAM administration and execution of web content tasks—playing a key part in maintaining quality, consistency, and efficiency across our digital channels.
As part of the Web Operations team, you’ll work closely with content publishers, marketers, product owners, and creative teams to ensure assets and content are organized, accessible, and properly deployed across the website and other digital touchpoints.
If you’re ready to take it to the next level and make a lasting impact on Vonage’s digital presence, we want to hear from you!
(must overlap some working hours with Eastern Standard Time business day, 8am ET - 1pm ET)
Your key responsibilities:
- Manage the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system: This includes organizing, maintaining, and auditing digital assets, metadata, and taxonomy while ensuring all assets adhere to usage rights, naming conventions, and brand/compliance standards.
- Support DAM user onboarding and collaboration: Provide training to new users and coordinate with creative and marketing teams for the timely upload and accurate tagging of new assets.
- Execute Web Content Management System (CMS) updates: Perform content entry, stage pages using existing templates, format content, place assets, and update links.
- Ensure Web Content Quality Assurance (QA): Conduct basic QA checks on webpages, including verifying links, media, alt text, and image optimization, to align with brand and web best practices.
- Coordinate Web Page Deployment: Collaborate with Web Strategists, Web Design, and stakeholders to prepare and finalize pages for go-live, assisting with localization workflows as needed.
- Maintain Operational Documentation and Standards: Regularly update documentation for asset guidelines, publishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and metadata standards.
- Support Content Governance and Workflow: Assist in the intake, triage, and routing of basic requests via team workflow tools, and monitor/report on content trends, asset usage, and site quality
What you will bring:
- 2–4 years of experience in digital content management, DAM systems, or web publishing
- Familiarity with CMS tools (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, Drupal, etc.)
- Experience using DAM systems (e.g., Adobe DAM, Aprimo, Bynder, Widen, etc.)
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a quality-first mindset
- Understanding of web accessibility basics (e.g., alt text, media tagging, WCAG guidelines)
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams
- Bonus: experience with QA tools, localization platforms, basic HTML, and WCAG accessibility compliance
How you’ll benefit:
In addition to providing exciting work, career advancement opportunities, and a collaborative work environment, Vonage provides competitive pay and benefits including unlimited discretionary time off. #LI-RE1
