This allows them to reach and engage customers on their preferred schedule and channel — including voice, video, and messaging. Think of a rideshare service instantly connecting with customers, hospital staff conducting remote monitoring, customers verifying their identity before completing a purchase, AI virtual agents servicing customers around the clock, and much more.
Why this role matters:
We're looking for a Developer Advocate (Network Applications) to join the Vonage Developer Relations team and drive the successful adoption of our network-powered API solutions. In this strategic role, you'll lead developer experience initiatives for our network APIs including Verify, Identity Insights, and other carrier-connected products, helping to create tools and resources that ensure users can quickly and securely integrate network-based authentication, fraud prevention, and identity verification into their applications. Your work will be crucial in helping developers leverage the power of carrier networks and telecom infrastructure, combining technical expertise with strategic insight to drive platform adoption and usage.

You'll focus on creating reference implementations and developer resources that showcase the security, reliability, and global reach of our network APIs while educating developers on best practices for authentication, identity verification, and fraud prevention.
Your key responsibilities:
- Technical Content: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, code samples, and tutorials that demonstrate best practices for implementing Verify, Identity Insights, and other network API integrations
- Community Education: Host webinars, workshops, and hackathons to educate developers on building secure authentication flows, implementing fraud detection, and leveraging carrier network data
- Documentation Tools: Develop and maintain tools that help keep API documentation current, including automated testing of code samples and integration examples
- SDK Development: Design and contribute to SDKs and developer tools that simplify integration of network APIs across multiple platforms and programming languages
- Product Feedback: Gather and analyze developer feedback to identify opportunities for API improvements, better developer experiences, and new network-powered features
- Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to ensure tooling aligns with platform capabilities, security requirements, and developer needs
