About the Role

VTEX is seeking a Deal Strategy Intern for Core Growth who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and will be responsible for creating efficient processes in our Deal Desk area.

The role will assist management in mitigating risk of material misstatement in our financial statements and in helping the internal control manager maintain our compliance program.

In addition, as a Deal Strategy Intern, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Design, implement, document, assess, and monitor the group’s internal control framework, including group policies for internal control and control objectives for core financial processes and key risks to ensure that the group has adequate controls to prevent unintentional and intentional errors in financial reporting processes;
  • Proactively identify, assess, manage, monitor, remediate, and report inconsistencies, redundancies, and control and flow deficiencies through the execution of the annual process;
  • Develop fundamental flows for the sales and renewals cycle generating agility, autonomy and security for VTEX globally;
  • Work with diverse teams globally and develop projects to increase the efficiency of the flows. 
  • Manage approval for Renewals and Renegotiating deals according to our internal pricing politics.
  • Be able to experience client-facing negotiations in relevant global deals.

 

Who you are

 
  • Must be enrolled until the seventh term in engineering, administration, economics, law or related fields;
  • Advanced or fluent level of English; Spanish is a plus;
  • Availability to work 6 hours a day from Monday to Friday.
