About the role

We seek talented Analytics Engineers with expertise in bringing robust, efficient, and integrated data models and products to life. The ideal candidate will serve as a data model subject-matter expert and data model spokesperson, demonstrating the ability to address questions quickly and accurately. The role requires active participation from the initial definition of the payload requirements, passing through the construction of pipelines all the way to the final modeled data. Advocating for data quality and consistency is second nature for the applicant, as well as ensuring all data is profiled, reviewed, and accurate to support critical business decisions.

About the team

You will be part of our Analytics Center of Excellence team, responsible for extracting insights into VTEX Data by leveraging our Data Platform tools and processes, company-wide Data Sets, Business Knowledge, and specific team data. The team's main goal is to accelerate VTEX impact while driving collaboration, powering decision-making and knowledge sharing company-wide.

Who you are

  • You have exceptional communication skills with a solution-oriented mindset, regularly conducting conversations between technical and business to a consensus
  • You are comfortable in intensively iterative environments, are a self-motivated individual with an acumen to analytical thinking
  • You have in-depth knowledge in both relational and non-relational databases, SQL / NoSQL, and experienced in query optimizations and performance tuning
  • You are experienced with big data tools and cloud environments
  • You have experience with Airflow and Python
